Why am I running for City Council?
I am passionate about utilizing my leadership and strategic planning skills to serve the community in which I live.

All, I wanted to provide you with some additional information to further clarify my position on various issues that I understand are important to our community.
Given a 40+ year track record of hard work, accountability and high ethical standards within the Department of Defense I plan to leverage this work ethic as follows:
- Commitment to maintain the Lucas culture and lifestyle with a focus on large lots, animal ownership, and keeping the unique rural feel of our city.
- Commitment to maintain, update, and improve the infrastructure of the city while retaining one of the lowest city tax rates in the North Texas area.
- Commitment to operate in full transparency in all city operations
- Commitment to strong fiscal discipline and fiscal accountability of taxpayer funds
- Commitment to our future generations by supporting positive working relationships with all six school districts and private schools in Lucas.
